How To Play Trial Of Chaos In Path Of Exile 2?
Trial of Chaos in Path of Exile 2 is the most difficult trial so far. As the trial progresses, players will suffer more and more debuffs. But at the same time, the high-difficulty challenge will also give players better rewards.
Trial of Chaos will be unlocked for the first time in the third act. Similar to Trial of the Sekhemas, Trial of Chaos also requires a series of challenges to be completed without dying, including some time challenges, kill count challenges, and completing specific goals. However, Trial of Chaos is very difficult. In each room, you need to choose one of the three negative terms, and the effect of the term will be effective throughout the trial. That is to say, as the trial progresses, there will be more and more negative terms, and the difficulty of completing the challenge will become higher and higher.
Challenge Test
Before entering the next room, new rewards will be provided, and new negative terms will be obtained. Please choose carefully. Terms that restrict movement and combat areas may make it impossible to bypass the enemy; or stacking terms that strengthen the enemy and weaken yourself will make it impossible to defeat the elite monster and cause the trial to fail. In the early stage, you need to pass 4 rooms in a row to complete the sublimation, and in the later stage, you can complete more rooms. The types of gameplay encountered in Trial of Chaos include: killing all monsters, surviving in timed challenges, escorting targets, etc.
Trial Of Chaos Random Bosses
Trial of Chaos also includes several random bosses, the order and difficulty of which depend on the time of encounter and the selected attributes. Random bosses are very difficult even without negative attributes, so be sure to choose negative attributes carefully. If you think the risk is too great, you can return to Trial NPC to claim your reward.
Soul Cores And Sockets
Various items can be obtained through Trial of Chaos, some of which may have Soul Cores, sockets, which can be slotted to gain additional buffs. Soul Cores can also be obtained in Trial of Chaos.
If you want to add Soul Cores sockets to existing items, you need to use a Jeweler’s Orb. Using Vaal Orb on an item corrupts it and makes it unchangeable by any currency. Adding a socket is one of the corruption effects that exceeds the normal limit, but there is a risk of rendering the item useless. Finding equipment with sockets and filling them with suitable Soul Cores is a good way to increase combat effectiveness during the endgame period, but don’t worry about this during the campaign for the time being.
Trial of Chaos has two sides, just like the map. For example, after completing the trial, you can sacrifice currency to get double rewards or zero rewards. But there is a chance to get some powerful unique items by passing the more difficult Trial of Chaos.
