Path Of Exile 2 Patch 0.4.0 Predictions | New Appearance System, Delve Return And Possible Druid Class Reveal

Nov 20, 2025

Recently, the official PoE 2 team announced plans to release patch 0.4.0 in early December, bringing players some new content and settings. While the specific livestream and release dates are still unknown, this news has undoubtedly ignited the enthusiasm of players.

Across various platforms, players are actively discussing the content of this update. Below, we'll make some predictions about Path of Exile 2 patch 0.4.0 based on player expectations.

Path Of Exile 2 Patch 0.4.0 Predictions | New Appearance System, Delve Return And Possible Druid Class Reveal

Appearance Customization

Although PoE 2 features many exquisite base items, players cannot actually collect them to customize their characters. Many players have expressed a preference for more realistic, retro-style armor and other base items over overly extravagant fantasy-style microtransactions.

PoE 2 team has noted this. Several months ago, they indicated in a Reddit user suggestion thread that they were developing a permanent skin transfer feature.

This feature will allow players to create permanent skin transfers for any base item type or unique item. Items transferred via skin transfers will appear in the player's cosmetics inventory, allowing them to freely use their owned unique items, base items, and microtransaction cosmetics.

While the exact release date for this system is still uncertain, we hope it will appear in PoE 2 patch 0.4.0.

Undoubtedly, this feature will add new fun to the game. Imagine how interesting it would be to mix and match different armor types during your adventures. Each player will surely create their own unique style.

Adding Delve Mechanism

If you've played PoE, this mechanic will be familiar. Delve allows players to follow a Crawler driven by Voltaxic Sulphite through the mine to a checkpoint, thus exploring Azurite Mine dungeon. In this dungeon, you'll delve deeper underground, defeating various monsters and challenging powerful enemies.

Previously, players discovered Delve-related content in PoE 2, leading to speculation that this popular mechanic might be added.

It's easy to imagine how wildly players who enjoy pushing their limits would react when this near-unrestricted exploration mechanism appears in game.

It provides players with a way to test their character's strength. When a player fails at a certain location, they can continuously improve upon the weaknesses of their current build, utilizing more powerful Path of Exile 2 items to elevate it to a higher level.

All signs point to Delve's imminent addition to the game. If it does appear, it will likely be redesigned to fit PoE 2 mechanics. Delve could provide inspiration for the existing Endgame Atlas and satisfy the needs of players who crave endless character exploration.

Druid Launch

Although PoE 2 officially states there will be 12 official classes, 5 are still not in the game. Therefore, we speculate that a new class will appear in this patch 0.4.0, providing players with more build options.

Of the unreleased classes, Druid has received the most requests, demonstrating its popularity among players.

Furthermore, players were pleasantly surprised to discover some Talismans that might be related to Druid.

Originally socketable items that provide various attribute bonuses to other items, Talismans discovered by players require Strength and Intelligence to equip, leading to speculation that they will be redesigned as Druid's primary equipment.

In addition, Talismans allow players to use Shapeshifting Skills, meaning that even when Druid is in bear or wolf form, players can still use skills from all forms, thus addressing concerns that shapeshifting might negatively affect character progression.

It's easy to imagine that if Druid does appear in this PoE 2 patch 0.4.0, players will unleash their enthusiasm and create many worthwhile builds. If you also want to try these builds in the game, consider stocking up on Path of Exile 2 currency beforehand; it will probably help you achieve your goals more smoothly.

Overall, although only the announcement of the upcoming patch 0.4.0 has been released, Path of Exile 2 players are already very excited about the game.

As December approaches, players are eagerly awaiting more useful information from the official team. Perhaps a new live stream or announcement will be released soon, so stay tuned!

Path Of Exile 2 Efficient Resource Acquisition Guide: High-Yield, Low-Cost Farming Strategy
Leon Green
Nov 10, 2025

How can you acquire resources more efficiently in Path of Exile 2 maps? If you’re struggling with the slow rate of resource acquisition while farming, I’ll recommend an easy-to-implement strategy for high-yield, low-cost farming.Path Of Exile 2 Efficient Resource Acquisition Guide: High-Yield, Low-Cost Farming Strategy

Note that this strategy is more suitable for players who have already cleared T15 and above maps.

Gear Rarity

To maximize your Path of Exile 2 Currency and loot acquisition, you should focus on increasing the rarity of your loot. Before farming, you need to select gear that increases loot rarity.

Sapphire Ring, Breach Ring, and Daggerfoot Shoes are all good choices, offering significant loot rarity bonuses and being relatively easy to obtain.

In addition, these three items provide various elemental damage resistances and damage bonuses, and the boots also provide a shield, allowing you to increase loot rarity while maintaining decent damage output and survivability.

Besides regular gear, I also recommend using the Rite of Passage Golden Charm to further enhance loot rarity. This is very suitable for areas with high monster respawn rates, such as the Abyss or Rifts, because killing enemies extends the buff duration of the Rite of Passage Golden Charm.

If you have other gear that increases loot rarity, you can use it as alternatives, aiming for rarity close to 100% to maximize benefits.

Atlas Skill Tree

In the POE sequel, some Atlas Skill Tree nodes also affect loot quality. Below, I will recommend worthwhile nodes to activate in the Atlas Skill Tree based on the different areas you’ll be farming.

Main Atlas Skill Tree

Prioritize unlocking Unstable Energies. This skill increases the drop rate of prefixes or suffixes by 25%, and the trigger condition is simple: just open the map.

Secondly, prioritize nodes on the left side of the main Atlas Skill Tree that increase the number of rare monsters, such as Rising Danger. Rare monsters are more likely to drop high-quality loot, so increasing their numbers increases the chance of obtaining high-quality loot.

Finally, on the right side of the main Atlas Skill Tree, there are several nodes that increase item rarity. Be sure to unlock these, and Item Quantity should also be unlocked to increase the loot drop rate.

Bosses

Some Atlas Skill Tree nodes can improve your rewards when challenging boss enemies. Below, I’ll recommend some based on the skill tree progression.

Firstly, compared to Spoils of Far, which increases monster numbers by 15%, I recommend prioritizing Fit For A King. It increases the rarity of boss enemy loot by up to 25%, a very significant improvement.

Secondly, Radiant Waystones is the only node in the skill tree that directly increases the number of Waystones dropped by boss enemies, indirectly increasing the rewards for challenging bosses.

Thirdly, Node Old Pirates Trick grants you an extra safe in boss areas, allowing you to obtain rewards directly with little effort.

Fourthly, Organized Forces increases the monster level in areas with boss monsters, meaning an overall improvement in monster drop quality, suitable for stronger players.

Fifthly, Beyond Reality has a 30% chance to add a corruption effect to boss enemy maps, increasing the number of monsters on those maps and helping you acquire more loot.

It’s worth noting that each major node unlocked increases the monster level by one level, so it’s recommended to consider your strength before unlocking nodes.

Breach

POE 2 rifts are usually accompanied by large numbers of enemies, and the more enemies, the more loot. Therefore, we can increase enemy density in rifts by unlocking certain nodes in Atlas Tree. Rising Pyre is a must-unlock, as it directly increases enemy density by 25%.

Then there are Crumbling Walls and Interdimensional Assault, which increase the spawn rate and opening/closing speed of rifts.

However, this Atlas Tree unlocking path places certain demands on your damage and monster-killing speed. Before unlocking Rising Pyre, you need to unlock Frantic Invasion, which increases the damage you take. Therefore, you must ensure your damage is sufficient to deal with large groups of powerful monsters.

Of course, you can choose to forgo Rising Pyre and unlock Xesht’s Madness, increasing rare monster drops rather than increasing monster numbers. However, this approach is clearly less beneficial than increasing monster density.

Simulacrim

If you prefer obtaining loot through Simulacrim, then the following two Atlas Tree nodes are essential to unlock.

First, They’re Coming To Get You... node increases the spawn rate of Uncounter bosses by 25%. Defeating them drops shards and loot.

Second, I’m Not Afraid Of You increases boss health but also significantly increases the number of shards they drop. These shards are the main materials for upgrading maps, so you can collect some while farming.

You can allocate the remaining points according to your needs, but only the first two will provide the highest return on your farming.

Precursor Tablets

Prioritize tablets with affixes that increase monster numbers. Breach and Irradiated tablets are highly recommended. Regarding affix selection, higher affixes are always better, but considering cost-effectiveness, tablets with around 30% affixes are sufficient for most needs; higher affixes might be too expensive.

Farming Tips

The most important point is to increase your monster-killing speed. If you’re using Rite of Passage Golden Charm, choose areas with many rare monsters to extend its duration.

Secondly, prioritize clearing Abyss before clearing Rifts. This will allow you to acquire the most POE 2 Currency and loot in the shortest amount of time.

Finally, when looting, prioritize high-value items to avoid losing them. Items of average quality can be collected after all monsters have been cleared.

The above is a guide to efficient gear selection and Atlas Skill Tree allocation for farming Path of Exile 2. Hopefully, this guide will help you quickly obtain the loot you desire and improve your strength.

Path Of Exile 2: Best Strategy For Maximizing Loot And Rewards In Patch 0.3.1
Miles Trek

Path of Exile 2's latest league has been updated with Patch 0.3.1, adding new challenges and mechanics.

Juice Mapping process has been adjusted in this patch, allowing players to increase the difficulty of their maps and earn richer rewards.

Below, I'll recommend what I believe is the best strategy for maximizing the rewards your map offers.Path Of Exile 2: Best Strategy For Maximizing Loot And Rewards In Patch 0.3.1

Preparation

Before beginning this loot-collecting strategy, we need to do some preparation. This is because these are key points for increasing the rarity of items available to high-level characters. We need to focus not only on the quantity but also the quality of the items we collect.

Exalted Orb

Through extensive testing and experience, we've implemented this strategy directly at Unique Maps. I've chosen Abyss Map from Atlas Maps as an example. You can also choose other maps based on your preferences.

Next, we use PoE 2 Exalted Orb to increase the number of modifiers in Unique Maps to six, including prefixes and suffixes.

Omen Of Chaotic Monsters

In numerous tests, we choose to randomly obtain Omen of Chaotic Monsters from killing Abyssal Monsters in Abyssal Depths as Omen. While this is active, the next time you use PoE 2 Chaos Orb, the modifiers for Waystones in Unique Maps will be replaced with modifiers that increase the number of monsters and the difficulty level of the monsters.

Since I've chosen Abyss Map, this strategy increases item rarity in that area by 25%. Furthermore, Abyss also contains two or three additional pits, which increase item rarity by another 25%.

Atlas Skill Tree

Next, we enter Atlas Skill Tree page. A node in the tree increases the number of Rare Monsters spawned on the map, helping you farm items and waystones more efficiently.

So, we need to add special Passives.

First, Mark for Death, which increases the physical damage taken by enemies marked for death.

The way to obtain Mark for Death is to gradually complete the passive skill tree as you level up. This is the easiest way to obtain it.

Distilled Emotions

First, let's perform Distilled Emotions. We need to infuse the map with one Concentrated Liquid Fear and two Liquid Paranoia from Liquid Emotion.

Concentrated Liquid Fear inflicts 22% Delirious damage to players in the area, and Rare Monsters have a 25% chance of receiving an additional Modifier.

Liquid Paranoia inflicts 12% Delirious damage to players in the area and increases the number of Rare Monsters by 15%.

Based on the effects of these two emotions, infusing Concentrated Liquid Fear will have a greater effect on increasing the map's difficulty and increasing the chance of rarer items. However, combining these two emotions not only upgrades Amulets and enhances their passive abilities, but also increases the map's Delirium rate. Therefore, choosing both Liquid emotions is more effective.

Tablets

After infusing these two emotions, the map is essentially complete. Next, we'll modify the tablets on this map to increase the number of Rare Monsters. In this strategy, we'll modify Breach Precursor Tablet and Precursor Tablet.

Breach Precursor Tablet causes the map to contain Breaches, which significantly increases the number of monsters. This can force you to farm a lot of monsters, thereby collecting a large amount of Path of Exile 2 Currency.

Precursor Tablet can Irradiate the map, causing monsters to level up by one level. This increased monster level means you have a chance of obtaining higher-level rewards when they are killed.

The above is the best strategy I've come up with after several experiments to maximize rewards. By increasing the difficulty of the map by adding rare monsters and/or increasing their damage, we can obtain more loot.

This method has been the best for me so far, and I hope you enjoy the game.

Path Of Exile 2 Patch 0.3.0 Performance Issues And Boring Endgame | Why Are Players So Frustrated?
Miles Trek
Sep 26, 2025

Path of Exile 2's recently launched Act 4 has been incredibly exciting for players, with many new gameplay features garnering praise. For demolition enthusiasts in particular, Path of Exile 2's early endgame maps are a true paradise.

The game's new trading system is also quite appealing, allowing players to create powerful builds through various combinations to complete some endgame maps. However, while players are immersed in the game, they've also discovered a number of unsatisfactory issues.

Path Of Exile 2 Patch 0.3.0 Performance Lssues And Boring Endgame | Why Are Players So Frustrated?

Poor Performance And Frequent Lag

Path of Exile 2's endgame is determined by completing Atlas. Players unlock maps, earning rewards such as POE 2 currency and gradually leveling up. These maps have modifiers that change their difficulty as you progress. As players progress through the maps, the modifiers accumulate, inevitably leading to a decline in performance.

Perhaps due to issues with the game's mechanics, driver issues, or something else entirely, Path of Exile 2's performance after Update 0.3.0 has been significantly worse than in previous leagues.

There are also frequent stuttering issues during gameplay, though a stutter at the end of a game loop is considered a relatively minor issue. For players in the middle of a fierce battle, sudden stuttering, a return to the desktop, or even a black screen can be enough to drive them crazy.

Especially during boss fights that require powerful explosive attacks, such as the new Benedictus boss in Act 4, frequent stuttering can waste players' previous efforts and force them to pause their progress. This is a problem that wears down both patience and energy.

The Endgame Loop Is Also Unsatisfactory

In terms of gameplay content, Path of Exile 2's endgame loop is also somewhat lackluster. Some people will enjoy the gameplay of exploring and upgrading equipment while progressing through the map, which suits their preferred gameplay style, but for others, it can be a real pain.

Complex Crafting System

Path of Exile 2 0.3.0 introduces a completely revamped crafting system, where many crucial end-game equipment upgrades are made. However, this system is overly complex, requiring pre-collection of Omens, desecration, fracturing, and other operations, making it extremely unfriendly for beginners.

Perhaps, as players become familiar with the game and acquire sufficient powerful equipment, this crafting system will become popular. However, in the early stages, for players without powerful equipment and unfamiliar with the crafting system, the game is too difficult.

Therefore, it is recommended that the game's developers increase the chance of loot drops to foster player confidence and interest. After all, Path of Exile 2 is an ARPG centered around currency items.

Path Of Exile 2 Patch 0.3.0 Complex Crafting System

Poor Tower Gameplay

The exploration gameplay in the first few endgame maps of Path of Exile 2 is also unsatisfactory.

Towers, a crucial feature that connects to more map areas and helps players plan their routes, are exhausting to find. This problem is exacerbated in the Tier 15 map areas. It's reasonable to suspect that the game developers deliberately set the encounter rate to be extremely low to prevent players from receiving rich loot rewards.

Path Of Exile 2 Patch 0.3.0 Poor Tower Gameplay

Endless Grinding Of Pinnacle Bosses

Furthermore, the endgame loop becomes boring because of the endless grinding required before defeating Pinnacle bosses. While the goal is to become stronger and defeat them, the process is excruciating, requiring players to spend countless hours repeating the same gameplay before finally reaching the true boss.

Choosing a new build for the endgame loop and trying out different builds and skill combinations is certainly fun. However, this type of gameplay has been explored numerous times by players since Path of Exile 2's launch, and it's no longer as fresh.

After this campaign rework, the developers still hoped this gameplay mechanic would attract players, but the effect has naturally declined significantly. This type of gameplay no longer provides players with much enjoyment.

I hope the developers can address the game's issues, improve its shortcomings, and listen to player feedback to make Path of Exile 2 even better.
