Path Of Exile 3.27 Scarab Flipping Guide: Turning Trash Scarabs Into Divine Orbs
In Path Of Exile 3.27, players may accumulate many ordinary scarabs during gameplay. These scarabs can be transformed and sold into more valuable items. See here for details on how to do this.
In Path of Exile 3.27, players often need to collect various in-game items and currencies to have a good gaming experience. Different types of scarabs are particularly important, as they can be used in conjunction with maps to provide different attribute bonuses; the rarer the scarab, the more powerful the effect.
Sometimes, while farming, players will randomly obtain scarabs of varying quantities and levels from certain monsters. However, these scarabs are generally of low quality and not very useful. With good luck, one or two rare scarabs might occasionally drop.

At this point, players might wonder, are those ordinary scarabs useless? Of course not! We can convert scarabs at a specific ratio and then resell them to exchange for other more valuable items.
The most common method is to utilize the in-game Vendor Recipe system. Players can sell any item to a merchant NPC to obtain Path of Exile currency, items, or equipment.
Selling three common-quality scarabs to the merchant NPC will randomly exchange them for other types of scarabs. The scarabs obtained after these exchanges will be of relatively higher quality, but this is not guaranteed; the conversion result depends on luck.
Then, these exchanged scarabs can be sold on trading platforms for substantial profits.
Next, I will teach you the specific steps for converting and selling scarabs. You can use this method to make a profit.
Trade Testing
First, to ensure the feasibility of this method, we conducted an experiment. Within 42 minutes, at a 3:1 ratio, 300 common scarabs were exchanged for 32 Divination Scarabs. It's clearly worthwhile, even significantly better than other acquisition methods in the game.
Furthermore, theoretically, if we can obtain Scarabs at a lower price, for example, by getting them elsewhere at a 15% discount, then what would have been 300 Scarabs could become 301, resulting in a higher final profit.
Adding all the Scarabs together yielded a considerable number. Using these Scarabs, we earned 32 Divination Scarabs through reselling in a short period. Furthermore, when I sold them all to others in exchange for Divine Orb, the final transaction price was 5 POE Divine Orbs higher than the asking price, which was another extra profit.
In total, we earned 37 Divine Orbs in 42 minutes, achieving a substantial profit. After all, Divine Orb, a Path of Exile currency, is a valuable asset in the game.
Pay Attention To Price Fluctuations When Exchanging
First, you need to find an exchange tool to help you with price references. These websites will show you the prices of different Scarabs.
However, note that these prices are not real-time, as scarab prices are easily affected by the game environment and may fluctuate weekly. Therefore, it's recommended to check the actual price online before exchanging.
Generally, the exchange tool will only display the scarabs you should sell among all your scarabs, making them very prominent. In general, scarabs priced around 1 Chaos Orb can be sold to merchants.
Use 3 of these scarabs to exchange for a random scarab at the merchant. However, this has a degree of randomness, as you cannot guarantee that the exchanged scarab will be of high quality. Therefore, you need to ensure your sample size is large enough. From a probabilistic perspective, with a sufficient number, the result is generally not too bad.
Accumulate More Scarabs To Maximize Profits
If you don't have many scarabs, it's not recommended to exchange them, as your sample size is insufficient, and you may not be able to exchange for a high-quality scarab. In that case, your scarabs would be wasted.
Therefore, we can acquire scarabs at low prices through various channels, accumulate a certain number, and then convert and sell them. Specifically, we can exchange 1 Chaos Orb for 3 ordinary scarabs, then convert these 3 scarabs into one at the merchant NPC. If the converted scarab is a rare one, we can sell it.
Over time, the profit can be quite high. And sometimes, if we're lucky, the scarabs we buy at a low price from others might even yield a high-quality scarab, which is like an extra bonus.
However, I personally don't usually do this intentionally; I only convert the scarabs I already own. For example, during this period of time, I accumulated a lot of scarabs in the game. The most profitable way is to exchange them and then sell them.
Of course, if you find this troublesome, you can list these scarabs directly on a trading platform, but this might result in the loss of some potential profits.
The above are the specific methods and some precautions for reselling scarabs to obtain higher profits. If you're lucky enough to obtain a rare scarab during a merchant exchange, you can choose to keep it for yourself; the choice is yours.
If you currently have a large number of Scarab Beetles and don't know what to do with them, ten try this method!
