Path of Exile 3 30 Launch POE League Predictions

The developers have finally confirmed that Path of Exile 3.30 will officially launch on November 13th. In less than a month, the new league will replace the existing Curse of the Allflame.

However, apart from the date, no other information has been revealed. The specific details of Path of Exile 3.30 will only be known at ExileCon 2026 on November 7-8. While waiting, we can perhaps use the existing information and leaks to see what changes and modifications the upcoming league might bring.

3.30 League Predictions

Due to the backlog of issues and numerous adjustments required for Path of Exile 3.29, we can predict the core update content of the new version using Curse of the Allflame, which may include an Endgame overhaul:

Path of Exile 3.30 Release Date Confirmed: November 13 Launch, League Predictions & What to Expect

Loot Changes

In 3.29, the difficulties players encountered during early progression will be improved. The developers have shifted the focus of loot drops to killing monsters themselves, freeing players from relying on chests or tile loot.

Adjustments to Existing Bosses and Map Structure

Access mechanisms and difficulty for some Endgame encyclopedia entries and certain final bosses have been optimized, increasing the diversity of core gameplay.

Adjustments to Old League Mechanics

Adjustments may also be made to some old league mechanics to enhance player enjoyment.

Expedition & Blight

The difficulty of this mode may be reduced or rewards increased, reducing player fatigue during grinding and making the game more enjoyable and relaxing.

Delirium

Improvements in game performance and visual effects will result in smoother and more aesthetically pleasing gameplay, significantly reducing player fatigue.

Harbinger

Major overhauls in art and mechanics will bring it closer to Breach and Abyss, while avoiding the devaluation of Currency Shards.

Heist, Legion, and Breach

Content will be added or reworked to improve the tedious early game setup and avoid mechanic homogenization.

Mirage

Due to high player demand for Chase Uniques mechanic in Mirage, the developers have decided to return Mirage in POE 3.30 as a key endgame mechanic. Screams of Desiccated belt is highly likely to return as well; this belt, along with Headhunter and Mageblood, is considered a top-tier belt, highly sought after, and provides a bonus when paired with Gull helmet.

This move addresses the issue of low POE Currency drop rates in patch 3.29. However, to balance the game's economy, the developers will adjust Mirage to feature a low-probability Random Spawn, similar to Wildwood and Sentinels.

It's also worth noting that PoE 2 is scheduled for release this December. The developers may try to coordinate Path of Exile 3.30 with PoE 2, while also staggering the release date to maintain game balance.

How to prepare for 3.30?

There's only about a week between ExileCon 2026 and the official release. In the initial stages of the new league, all players start from scratch, so it's crucial to quickly develop builds and manage the pace. Time will be relatively tight.

This tight schedule has sparked considerable interest among players. So after importing the new league's skill tree data, players should quickly simulate their initial build details to familiarize themselves with the new league's mechanics. Remember, do not attempt any novel strategies on the first day to avoid wasting time. It's recommended to choose a traditional, strong initial build with a high minimum requirement, low economic cost, and stable ability to clear red maps.

It's recommended to prepare rare gear in advance to increase resistances, health, and damage bonuses to cope with some unique adjustments. Focus on grinding monsters rather than opening a lot of chests to develop a final strategy for maximum benefit.

Secondly, practicing the campaign beforehand is also crucial. Take some time to run Act 1-10 on a permanent server using your initial skills to familiarize yourself with skill combos and early Ascendancy speed, preparing for later stages.

Don't forget to prepare a loot filter beforehand. It highlights high-value drops and hides low-value items, managing the clutter on your screen and preventing you from missing items unique to the new league.

Check that your trading platform is updated beforehand to prepare for filtering or selling initial gear in the early market during the first two days of the campaign. Download patches before the server launch; don't wait until launch to download patches, as this can easily cause you to fall behind.

Finally, after the official patch is released, be sure to watch it carefully to confirm how the gem conversion and specific unique mechanics have changed.

Curse of the Allflame Challenge League has a few weeks left before it ends on November 9th at 1 PM. Players who haven't completed the challenge yet can reschedule and finish it as soon as possible. Let's all look forward to the arrival of Path of Exile 3.30.
